Power Junior Submission Agreement
This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the contributor ("Party A") and Power Junior Magazine ("Party B"). By submitting a work, Party A agrees to the following terms and is legally bound by them.
1. Originality and Liability
-
Party A guarantees that the submitted work ("Work") is completely original and has never been published on any other platform, publication, or media. The Work does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, reputational rights, or other legal rights.
-
If the Work contains quotes, adaptations, translations, or collaborative content, Party A must ensure they have full authorization and must properly credit the source.
-
Party A assumes full legal responsibility for the content of the Work, including but not limited to copyright infringement, defamation, false information, and plagiarism. If Party B faces any legal claims or lawsuits due to Party A’s Work, Party A must fully compensate Party B for damages, legal fees, and court costs.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
-
Party A grants Party B an exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable global copyright license, allowing Party B to use, publish, modify, translate, distribute, reproduce, sell, and commercialize the Work in any format.
-
Party B has the right to edit and adapt the Work as needed for publishing, marketing, or branding purposes but will not distort its core message or intent.
-
Party B retains the right to sub-license the Work, permitting third-party media, publishers, or partners to republish, adapt, print, or monetize the Work without requiring additional consent from Party A or offering any compensation.
-
Once submitted, Party A cannot withdraw or revoke the Work’s authorization, even if it is not published. Party B maintains the right to use the Work indefinitely.
3. Attribution and Editing Rights
-
Party B reserves the right to determine whether to credit the author. Party A cannot demand attribution unless explicitly requested at the time of submission.
-
Party B has the full authority to edit, shorten, or modify the Work, including title optimization, content refinement, formatting, and layout adjustments, without notifying Party A.
4. Commercial Use of the Work
-
Party B retains the right to use the Work for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to advertising, book publishing, social media promotion, digital magazines, and educational materials. Party A is not entitled to any profit-sharing or additional compensation.
-
Party B may translate and distribute the Work in multiple languages to international markets without additional notice or authorization from Party A.
5. Legal Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
-
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
-
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) for binding arbitration.
-
Party B shall bear no legal liability for any claims, defamation, or copyright disputes related to the Work, and all legal responsibility remains with Party A.
6. Electronic Signature and Agreement Enforcement
